I used cheap-o acrylics, "Multi-Surface" by FolkArt, from Walmart. Def not professional, but it's my first DnD mini and I'm super casual--- we're just a bunch of nerds who make dinner, drink gin 'n' Dr. Pepper, and play DnD until our old-asses get tired at 1am. We don't even use minis all that often except to map combat, but there wasn't one in the current commie box I liked, so I set out to find one of my own. It was ridiculously difficult finding a young, slim, beardless male figure! Most male minis are super jacked or have a beard to their navel. That's cool, but Echo is 19, tall, lithe, and a pretty boy. I am SO glad I found the Theurge figure by Reaper. It's the closest sculpt to matching my character, but still reads a little too mature. I fixed it a bit by shaving off the sideburns with an Xacto knife. I highly recommend these plastic figures! They take the paints like a champ....and with no primer!
